The work

Ashburner Building Services Ltd completed foundations and substructure works for a luxury residential new build on a restricted site in Chichester city centre.

Tight site boundaries and neighbouring homes made excavation, plant access, deliveries and movement of materials more demanding. The team planned the work around the confined space.

After constructing the foundations, the team progressed the substructure brickwork and blockwork, managing setting out and levels for the next stages of construction.

The project shows how substantial residential groundworks can be delivered where access, space and logistics need careful coordination.
